I bought these to replace my old adidas kanadia trail shoe. A friend recommended the solomon speedcross because she felt it was a lightest trail shoe she had ever owned. This is a good shoe overall. Originally my reason for purchase was because it was supposed to be a light trail shoe. I am 5'10" 9.5 shoe size, the shoe felt true to size and it was normal width, but I do have a narrow foot and while it was perfect for me perhaps someone with wider than normal might consider the men's version of this shoe instead. What I did dislike was the fact it was not as light of a shoe compared to my kanadias tr shoe. I still decided to keep the shoe even though it felt heavier, it does have very good cushioning and the bottom of my feet do not feel sore at all, it actually provides good cushioning. Also the shoe is very nice looking , I receive compliments all the time.
Pros: comfortable, offer good cushion to bottom of feet, like the look of it
