The perfect trail shoe!

After lots of reading and reviews, I decided to give the Salomon Synapse a try for my trail/hiking endeavors. I've never had a pair of Salomons before, so I was curious about all the important factors---fit, stability, comfort and construction. After hitting the trail (somewhat rocky & sandy, otherwise moderate) I was beyond pleased with how comfortable and supportive these Syanapse shoes are! No sores or blisters at all---my feet felt great through the duration, and I can tell they'll do just as well on longer ventures. The fit was true. I have trouble with shoes fitting my heel area too loosely, and these shoes were snug in all the right places. Though it seems these will last for a long while, this definitely won't be my last pair of Salomons---consider me a convert!
