I really like the wide toe box, arch support, cushioning, lacing system, & breathability of this shoe. I am a size 9 in nearly all sizes, but I will re-order these in a 1/2 shorter. That is the thing about mail order. Otherwise I would have got it right the first time. So I have no input on the durability yet. I need these for walking South Dakota's dirt trails and gravel roads. Although these shoes may not be waterproof, they are washable. That is good enough for me.

I have owned a few pairs of these and have tried other trail shoes, but keep coming back to these. The front is flexible for running but the heel is really supportive. The sole is tough enough to.stop rocks and sharp stuff hurting your feet and the grip is great in a variety of terrain from hard firetrails to muddy and wet stuff. They are supportive for flat feet. I've had the gore tex ones too but find them too hot in Australian summers, these are much more breathable I would like to see less padding inside the lining to improve the breathability, I also wear out the insides quickly because of all the lining and padding, but I do this to all my shoes. They run a little big, I get 8.5 though I'm normally a 9

This is my second pair of these great shoes. Performance wise, they have great traction and the lacing system can't be beat. Size wise, they are absolutely nutty. I usually wear an 8.5-9, but in these I wear a 7.5. Recommend either trying them on in a store and then buying online or just buying in the store so you can try them on.

This is at least my twelfth pair of these shoes. I LOVE them. I can put them on right out of the box and go run 15 miles without a rub or a blister. They always feel fantastic. I also love not having to tie my laces. I can adjust the tension with a quick pull, then tuck the laces into the lace pocket on the top of the shoe so that they don't catch on sticks and debris. I have high arches, so I do put in an arch insert for extra support. I also throw them in the washing machine periodically and let them air dry. This works very well for me. They are sturdy and totally dependable trail running shoes, but I have also worn them in road races because I love them so much! I even got a PR in a half-marathon in these shoes (and a trophy) while everyone else was wearing racing flats. I am 5'7" and 112 lbs. I just can't say enough great things about my Salomon XA Pro 3D running shoes!

These shoes feel great and are really easy to put on. They're also good for men, my husband has a pair and loves them! He's in the construction business and his lasted him two summers which is unbelievable for how much he uses them. The durability they showed for him convinced me to get a pair. However, the sizing seems to be a little big. I usually wear an 8 and it came and it is too big, so I think I'm going to try a 7.5, otherwise great feeling shoe!

Have had this brand of shoe in past and really love the support. These feel good and I was glad to find them in a neutral gray color! They are very lightweight yet highly durable

Excellent shoe! I prefer the XA Pro 3d Ultra 2 over the XT wings as they offer a bit more protection on the trails. I normally take a size 7 US (37 Euro) but recommend sizing down to a size 6.5. Cheers. P.S. In case anyone uses Pedag insoles (38 is the correct size for a 6.5).
