very good shoe
I haven't had the shoes long enough to have really tested them, but so far they are great. The sizing is dead on with what I ususally wear (9.5 M). No surprises. The shoes are very comfortable and when combined with my smartwool socks actually quite warm. Hopefully this won't be a problem in the warmer months ahead.

Pleased with XA Pro 2 XCR
So far I'm glad with my selection. Shoes are very well constructed and designed. I find them a bit narrow and should be purchase half a size larger. Sole is amazing, awesome grip. Very cushioned. Toe protector is great, very hard. Stability is perfect, though when the shoe is tightened there is pressure in the ankle. Lacing system, I love it but could be improved, yet very simple once get used. All- around i’m satisfied with my shoes, I’ll buy again and recommend them. I love the look. They seem very high-tech, shaping the future.

Close fit ...good shoes
I haven't really put these shoes through the paces yet, but so far they seem very capable. I have a relatively narrow foot and these shoes seem to fit quite snug. So I don't have any serious complains.

so far so good
I have only had these shoes for about three weeks now but they have done well. The weight takes some getting used to if you are used to regular running shoes and I had some rubbing on my back heel, for all those short sock wearers. They didn't dry as fast as I though they would but still better then any standard shoe. All in all I am pleased and can see many more outdoor applications for these shoes in the future.

solid shoe
For fit, err with larger size; I range from 10.5 to 12 and fit nicely in the 12; stable construction, tongue can be a bit bulky but I think this has been revised in the most recent version.

Good, but hurt my foot.
Bought this from hype written in some magazine. Fit well. Didn't like the lace setup. Water protection well. BUT they hurt my left foot. From the start, so had to sell them. They were comfortable and plenty of cushioning. Size was accurate to my shoe size.

mixed feelings
What happened? The old XA Pro(GTX) were "out-of-the-box" comfortable. After 20-30 miles, they still need work. Despite the new lacing system that apparently allows the runner to tweak the fit, there still seems to be a lot of pressure on the sides and slop in the heel. I really was looking forward to these. Now I'm not sure if I should chance them in a 24hr adventure race.
