The mesh upper feels lightweight and breathable, and the Ortholite footbed, thin EVA midsole, and Bedrock outsole will cushion your feet just a little, while shielding them from rocks, sticks, and other trail debris.

Great purchase

These shoes have excellent tread. I was looking for a shoe that was lightweight with a good grip for hiking/trail running. You can't go wrong on either account with these shoes. Also, buying from Altrec was easy, fast and they had one of the best prices on this shoe.

I now have about 300 miles on these shoes. They are extremely light and breath well. I love the 4mm drop and the traction they provide. There is nothing I would change with these shoes. I hope Saucony does not change this shoes in the future.

Great Lightweight Shoe with Good Tread

I wear these shoes for running my dogs in agility on grass and in dirt. I've worn other trail running shoes, and those felt like bricks on my feet with little flexibility. I've owned the original Peregrine, and this is my second pair of Peregrine 2's. The tread is really good - I have never slipped in wet grass wearing these shoes. These shoes last a long time with heavy use. The only thing that prevents a 5-star rating is that these shoes are a bit narrower than other brands of shoes.
