Nice Pavement Pounder
September 11, 2013

I was looking for a shoe that would be good for running around town, and perhaps some trails. The Saucony Kinvara TR Running shoe is a really good match for my needs. The tread is nice and grippy if I hit the dirt, and the sole is thick enough that I get the support I need when I'm running on pavement. The laces are long enough that I can tie a runner's knot, and that highest hole is placed well so that I don't cut off circulation to my feet. The shoe does run a bit on the small side - I had to get a 7.5 instead of my normal 6.5. Also, it's a more narrow shoe - which is perfect for me, but if your feet are wider, I would find something else.

Pros: good support, decent tread
