The SL M3 (wide) seems to be a quality boot, very well constructed. Unfortunately, I had to return my pair due to them not being wide enough. My feet are about a EEE width, and despite the fact that this version is a wide boot, it just isn't enough. The description on the Scarpa website says that these will fit up to an E width, so keep this in mind, and I would suggest anyone interested try these on in a store if at all possible. I am not going to give these boots a bad review simply because they don't fit my feet, because in my limited testing they seemed great besides the width. Recommended for those who have only moderately wide feet.

Boots are very comfortable and true to size. I normally wear a 4e in width and there is enough room for my toes to not be squished against each side of the boot. The heel fits snug and does not move. I have not tryed them in water yet but the quality is top notch and i have no doubt that they will perform well. Boots are a bit stiff right out of the box but for me it took 2 days at about 4 hours each day and they were broken in enough to wear all day on the trail with any blisters.
Pros: well made, true to size, true to width, very comfortable
