Scott Men's Mission Ski
If you're on a mission to master all sides of the mountain this season, you need to be on the award-winning Scott Mission ski. That's because Scott designed the Mission with a dual radius sidecut so it can be more versatile than other so-called all-mountain skis. Unlike traditional ski designs that use a single sidecut dimension, the Mission has a dual radius design that allows you to mix your short- and large-radius turns with considerable ease. To keep the flex lively, Scott incorporated a versatile wood core triaxial laminate for a blend of torsional stiffness and excellent flex distribution. Another nice feature is the Progressive (Pro) Tip construction that keeps the tips from over flexing and bouncing around in crud and uneven snow. These tips have a progressive tip height radius that makes the flex far more predictable than some advanced and expert all-mountain skis. If you tend to look for powder more than hardpack, consider a Mission with a wide width. The carving versatility of the dual radius design makes the Mission ski a perfect pick for guys who want to rip hardpack and groomers, but some powder purists look for a wider width and more floatation for their ride.
