Scott Men's Punisher Ski
Borrowing the best technological elements from Scott's all-mountain Mission ski, the Punisher is a highly versatile twin-tip that's perfect for advanced and expert freeriders who typically divide their day between the park and the groomed runs (or hardpack). Unlike traditional ski designs that use a single sidecut dimension, the Punisher has a dual radius design that allows you to mix your short- and large-radius turns with considerable ease. To keep the flex lively, Scott incorporated a durable and versatile wood core triaxial laminate for a blend of torsional stiffness and excellent flex distribution. Another nice feature is the Progressive (Pro) Tip construction that keeps the tips from over flexing and bouncing around in crud and uneven snow. These tips have a progressive tip height radius that makes the flex far more predictable than some advanced and expert twin-tip skis. Unless you opt for the longest Punisher ski size (it has a 90-mm. waist) you might find that this twin isn't quite wide enough for busting up pow all day in the backcountry.
