Designed with lift access, heli-skiing and snowcat trips in mind, the Backcountry Access Float 22 Avalanche Airbag pack offers a low-profile and lightweight airbag pack solution. Airbag packs have proven to reduce the risk of burial in the event of an avalanche and the BCA Float 22 is your ticket to safer mechanized access skiing. The pack features a 150-liter airbag that deploys with the pull of a cable. Backcountry Access developed their compressed air system to be affordable and easy to use. The canister (sold separately) can be refilled at outdoor shops all over the world. The pack integrates a dedicated shovel and probe storage area, BCA's freeze proof hydration compatibility and accommodates ski and board carrying. Stack the odds in your favor when you venture into your favorite stash with the Backcountry Access Float 22 Airbag pack. Canister is available separately. Please be aware that an airbag is designed to keep you at or near the surface, minimizing excavation time, but it does not guarantee avalanche survival.
