Description

Stitched sturdy to withstand the rigors of long snowboarding along park rails and untracked alpine these reinforced Men's Gridlock Snowboard Pants by Sessions are a smart pick for snowboarders of all abilities. While traditional cold weather pants give you protection against frigid cold, the Men's Gridlock Snowboard Pants offer a promising balance of warmth and rugged features for shredding. The Sessions Men's Gridlock Snowboard Pants has added articulation through the knees and seat regions so you stay comfortable in cold conditions without sacrificing your range of motion or compromising fabric durability, especially if you factor in the harsh conditions found in the frozen groomed runs or frosty ridgelines. The colors for the Sessions Men's Gridlock Snowboard Pants are specifically crafted to conform to this winter's array of snowboard gear from a wide range of vendors, including The North Face, 686, Foursquare and Volcom.

The product was a good fit, loose but comfortable. The pants seemed to not have quite the insulation that I was hoping for-since we will be using them in near 0 degree celsius weather, but with a good base layer they should be fine.

Solid Pants
December 11, 2011

I've worn the Gridlocks for a full season and was very pleased. The waterproofing was excellent and lasted through the entire season without treatment. Even with a high of -2, all the pants needed was a solid base layer to keep me comfortable. The pants fit well in the seat and knees. My one criticism is that the snaps to open the bottom of the pant wore out over time and wouldn't always stay snapped and flush to my boot. Overall the pants are a great value. I will buy them again when I manage to wear out my current pair.

Pros: Great design, Build quality, Lasts forever, Performance, Great value

Not Bad...Not Great
January 05, 2011

I've ridden with these pants 5-6 days now and overall they are OK. The best features are the multiple well-placed pockets, articulated knees and the fit. I'm 5'10" and 190lbs. and found the mediums to be a bit snug and the larges are a bit loose fitting, which I like. Length is draped but not overly long and baggy. As described by Sessions, these pants are ideal for ripping the park on warm to cool days, but are pretty light and got a bit chilly on one of the colder days riding. The material has held up well to some park crashes and seems like it will last a while. The biggest con I've found are the snaps and velcro closures. The fit and finish is average at best, a couple of snaps have already pulled through the material. With that said, I would still recommend these pants for anyone looking for some stylie board pants with great fit for shredding the park!

Pros: Great design, Great value
Cons: Poor quality, snaps break easily
