The ultralight stretch mesh upper is supported by a synthetic exoskeleton and soft suede overlays, and your foot locked in place with Velcro tabs. The high abrasion EVA midsole becomes a sculpted outsole with XT-900™ carbon rubber inlays, and flex grooves in front of the metatarsals and toes. In keeping with the barefoot running philosophy it's a neutral stance shoe with 0 mm offset from heel to toe and it weighs a mere 4.4 oz per shoe. Since it is such a minimalist shoe we do recommend using it sparingly until your body has adapted to minimal shoe running.
