Montrail uses an exclusive IntegraFit™ last based on information from over 800,000 pairs of digitally scanned feet, giving you more contoured support along the medial side of your feet to minimize elongation and pronation. The heel fit is intentionally snug to keep your heel aligned and reduce pronation while increasing control. These fit refinements result in more comfort and stability over extended distances on uneven terrain, and when sized properly, the Mountain Mist XCR shoe can even increase energy transfer in your hiking and running strides. A waterproof and breathable GORE-TEX® XCR lining helps keep your feet dry through rain, snow and muddy conditions, minimizing damp feet concerns over miles of trail and broken terrain. Forefoot lacing makes it easy to customize the fit according to your needs and trail conditions, enhancing the versatility of the Montrail Mountain Mist XCR several steps beyond the claims made by other hybrid shoe designs.
