Nik wax spray on Just used the Nik Wax spray on.
I sprayed the product on my ski pants and parka and ski gloves. Both orginally not water proof. We skied in wet snow and ice. The product performed well as I saw the water beading up on the fabric. As the weather turned to rain, snow, the fabric still performed well.
My ski buddies had gloves for over $ 75.00 they still had as much moistier as I had was impressed.
I thought the directions were veg. They stated to wet the garmet prior to sealing.? How wet?. They should give more details on the sealing.
As I skied I noticed that at the seals I was getting somewhat wet.
I will try the wash in sealer next time.

Good Product I used this product on a 3 ply goretex jacket I've had for almost ten years... The outer coating on the jacket had been worn off from years of use. The jacket looked terrible and the breathability was questionable. Although the jacket was still water proof I'd noticed condensation building up inside the jacket. After one treatment my jacket looks brand new, and perfoms as such.
I'd recommend this product to anyone who wants to extend the life of their waterproof/breathable outer wear.

Keeps the Outerwear Waterproof and Me Dry This is one of the best, if not the best, material for replenishing the DWR finish on hard shell garments. I've used it a minimum of three times on parkas, rain hats and ski pants with outstanding results. It's best when a second and maybe a third application is made.

Very good product Easy to use. We treated two Gortex jackets. Excellent result. I estimate that the 16 oz bottle will restore 6 or more garments. Be sure to wet the fabric prior to application.

Works, but not perfect I followed the instructions and ended up going through it twice, using about half the bottle on my jacket. The water is beading up at the beggining of being in the rain, but it stop beading after being wet a while. Also, it made my jacket smell like glue, but hopefully that will go away with time. But, the good news is it does make the water bead initially, so i guess that's what it's made to do, it just doesn't bring the garment all the way back to it's brand new state.

Barely worked I followed the directions meticulously, including pre-washing with detergent-free soap. Cycled to work in moderate rain - rain initially beaded more than before, but fabric was still saturated within 2 minutes. What a waste of time and money. I believe Granger's is supposed to be more effective.

Works like a champ This product actually works! It has turned my 8-year old, rode hard, 3-pound gore-tex jacket into something like new. I also used this on my ski pants and although they are not gore-tex, they seem to act in that capacity. Way better than scotch guard I had been using. I give it a thumbs up. FYI, According to all the gore-type MFG's you are not supposed to use the wash in type product for hardshells. Stick with the spray on. The wash in product is supposed to work the best on soft shell products due to denier count.

Nikwax works Works as well as expected. Rain sheds right off my jacket after application. I didn't give it a "great" rating only because the directions were not totally clear on how to apply. I think I applied it correctly, buy lightly wetting the jacket with water before spraying on the Nikwax. It appears this worked fine.
