Cozy warmth with the ability to stomp through wet snow and slush without getting wet, the Salomon women's Snowtracker boot is the all-around boot of choice for those who spend a lot of time outdoors during the winter months. The fit is fabulous too, as it's built to match the standard shaping of a woman's foot and lower leg, not a man's. Also, the Salomon Snowtracker women's snow boot's midsole is proportionally tuned to size, so larger sizes have a slightly stiffer midsole than smaller sizes. A full waterproof bootie surrounds the foot, and over the top of this protective layer, Thinsulate™ insulation, a polyurethane coated leather upper, and a high rubber rand provide a first line of defense from the cold and wet. The Salomon Women's Snowtracker boot has a wide last to provide more room for extra insulation and a warm sock combination. It also compensates for the superfat winter footbed that blocks cold air from radiating up through the tread and midsole. For positive grip, the Salomon crafted Winter Contagrip® tread design includes non-hardening rubber for extremely cold conditions.
