Works for my son
January 02, 2012
I got this jacket for my 13 year old son. (I agree with the comment posted earlier that the "red" is more burgundy than red, but my son doesn't mind that.) We were looking for a jacket that had nice style and kept him nice and dry as he walked to and from the bus stop on rainy days. This one certainly does that nicely. Breathable design is nice. My son is happy with it.
Pros: Great design, PerformanceSized too small

I ordered an XL for my son who is a slim 12-year-old but it was way too small, like a L on him. Can't vouch for its quality because we returned it but it looked OK.

Super impressed with this jacket! Soft warm lining gives it an extra boost for the boys on a rainy day. Hood fits nicely. Well made! Excellent value. Nice length. I ordered Mediums for both my boys (ages 6 and 8). The jackets are a bit on the large side, especially for my 6 year old (longer in his arms), but I wanted the boys to be able to wear them through several seasons. They work just fine!
Pros: Great design, Build quality, Lasts forever, Performance, Ease of use, Great valueRed is not bright red but burgundy.

I just received this in the mail today for my son. The red is not a bright red as in the picture but rather a deep burgundy. Lets just say my son was less than pleased with the color. I am returning for the blue. Otherwise, the jacket is awesome. The only reason I gave four stars is because of the color confusion. I have this jacket in women's and love it. The best part is the stuff sack.
Pros: Great design, Lasts forever, Great value
