It's the lightest tent in the world. In fact, it's lighter than last year's model because Sierra Designs worked with Easton to produce the lightest and strongest tent poles in the industry. Made with an aerospace carbon bonded to an Easton 7075 aluminum core tube, these poles are 30% lighter than previous Easton tubing, and use special Kevlar® connectors for enhanced durability. This year's Ultra Light Year CD is nearly a half a pound lighter than any single-person tent currently available on the market, so it's perfect for anyone who wants to go light without sacrificing comfort to the elements.
