Great Bag
The quuality of the bag is great. It is very warm. Great for 3 season use. Love the straps that hold it on your sleeping pad. Not the lightest but great for the price.

Great bag, but not warm enough for 20 degree temps
The bag is great and lasts, I just don't think it is meant for 20 degrees, you will freeze!

Well Made Sturdy Bag
This bag is shipped in the storage pillow case (included), not the stuff sack, so the loft is protected from the start! Very sturdy bag, very warm, great zipper - no snag and heavy duty. Bag is a bit bulky when stuffing, mostly due to the super duty zipper and draft tube - but the zipper is also bombproof. Sierra Designs -the choice for outfitters - very reliable and consistent quality.

Great and warm!
Exactly up to expectations. Fun colors. Just a little tight but this has to do with me not being used to a mummy shape. Very happy with the purchase otherwise.

Quality bag for a great price
The Wild Bill 20 overall is a solid bag. It has enough room and keeps you warm. The rating on the bag works in the 30 degree temps I've seen since I've had it. I couldn't find a better value.

Worth every penny
Good bag that keeps you dry and warm. Used it in our igloo and woke up with some standing water on the bag, but none inside. I do wish that they had kept the little zippered front pocket the same size as on their Paul Revere, Betsy Ross bag's, it's a bit small. The snag free zipper is a great improvement, all in all a great bag.

This past weekend at Sipsey Wilderness Area - Alabama
The Wild Bill Long kept me warm and comfortable in the Quillan Creek Canyon not twenty feet from the bank as temperatures plunged to 23 degrees and 20 degrees on the rim on successive evenings. Factor in 800 foot canyon wall winds and the waters effect you get the picture. I'm a large man by some standards and the only comment I have is that the shoulder room was a little snug. Adjustable footbox and hook couldn't be better. Overall the Sierra Design mummy bag exceeded my expectations for the price. Warm and dry go a long way when it's cold and damp outside.

A great bag for the money
I used this bag on several late spring frosty nights where the temperature dipped into the low 30's while camping in Yellowstone. The bag itself is extremely lightweight.

Great sleeping bag!
The design is great, and it keeps you warm. The front pocket is great for holding a small flashlight (no more hunting in the dark for a flashlight when you need to answer nature's call), and it is water-resistant too! Even though my tent flooded a bit during a really bad storm, the inside of the sleeping bag stayed dry, despite being in a puddle.

most comfortable sleep I've ever had in the outdoors
very accessable - easy to regulate heat. Pillow pocket is a great feature and sleeping pad stayed in place.

A great value for the $
I have used this bag in a varitey of situations and really enjoy the consistent performance. The sleeping pad straps are ingenious and help a moving sleeper stay put. Very versitile and an excellent bang for the buck. A good "beginner" bag.

Great bag for a great price
Great value - kept me warm all night long. The ability to strap the bag to your sleeping pad is an added bonus for those of us who move a lot while sleeping.

Awesome deal on a polarguard 3D bag
Excellent quality sleeping bag, it is really warm, pad straps are a nice feature. It is easy to stuff and the weight and size is just right for what I was looking for.

Great Value Especially at Sale Price
Altrec comes through with the best sales price on the Sierra Design Wild Bill sleeping bag. I am not too experienced in backpacking but this bag received good reviews from several sources so after a long search I purchased it. The quality is good and so far I have tried it out only on hot nights. I like the way it zips up from both directions and allows for some venting. I am a hot sleeper and tend to toss and turn all night. I found the bag roomey engough for my tastes. You can't beat the price. Sierra Designs has a good reputation and this bag is great for the budget.

Very warm and light weight. Quite water resistive. I've used it in outdoor overnight and it keeps me warm while other people are freezed to death!

Great bag! Lightweight, comfortable and warm!!
Great bag! My 14 year old son used it while tent camping in Mammoth Lakes during the summer, so low temperature only reached 45*. Kept him very warm. He liked the cinch strap around face area, pulled tight and kept cold air out. He could move around easily while sleeping even though it's a mummy bag. He also liked the straps on the bottom to hold his sleeping pad. The bag rolls up nicely in the enclosed stuff sack and fits nicely in the sleeping bag compartment of his backpack. Lightweight too considering all the features you get with the bag!

Versatile, economical, and lightweight!
I needed a bag that was lighter and smaller(stuffed), yet still heat rated for those colder nights. I found it in the Wild Bill. My first test of the bag was an exposed October night at 8800'. I didn't bring my tent and slept on the mountaintop. I woke up a few times during the night, never due to cold. I was comfy, super warm, and snug throughout the night with temperatures in the low 30's. The price is right with this bag, it has great features, the fit in the chest is a bit tight, but what bag isn't, it is compact enough for long backpacks, opens enough for warm summer nights, and good for three full seasons of backpacking. The only issue I had with this bag is the zipper. I hate dual zippers, they always get jammed on me, and this bag is no exception. The zipper has a creative flap which is designed to free it from jamming, but it makes it jam harder when it does jam. If you are a perpetual zipper jammer like me, be careful when zipping your bag, otherwise, it is nearly perfect. 9.5 out of ten.

Great, even when damp
I used this sleeping bag on a couple backpacking trips and also as a car camping sleeping bag for a month. On the second backpacking trip I was soaked and freezing after setting up my tent right off of Lake Superior, and so I hopped in my sleeping bag while I was still damp and I warmed up in about 15-20 minutes... I was definitely satisfied with that insulation retention even when wet. I can't say that I have always been toasty in this sleeping bag when it is 30 degrees F, but it does as much as I hoped it would.

Warm, Lightweight and CHEAP! Yeah!
The Sierra Designs Wild Bill 4-season bag is awesome. I saw it in backpacker magazine...it was there favorite winter bag...and guess what? its the cheapest also. At under $100, the bag is warm enough to sleep outdoors (I did so twice in freezing weather), roomy, lightweight, has a great hood with cinch and has a neat pouch for contact case, etc. I recommend the Wild Bill.
