Down booties have become more than just a luxury, and the Down Booties by Sierra Design for Men set the bar for design and comfort. They are one of the lightest, most packable amenities that you can ask for around camp or home. The high ankle profiles on the Sierra Design Down Booties deliver big on warmth, but you can also loosen the adjustable draw cords for a little venting. The cushy, non-skid nylon tread soles are equally at home during camp forays, or on a trip to the driveway to grab the Sunday paper.

I would describe them as warm, soft, smooth and extremely comfortable. They are sturdy enough to wear outside to grab the mail yet still soft enough to curl up on the couch under a blanket. They are sooo warm. I wouldn't trade them for anything.

These boots are great! I purchased them for when we drive to other ski resorts to keep my feet warm in the car before putting my ski boots on for the whole day! They work like magic! Really comfy and warm your feet up GREAT when feet are extremely cold!

Due to feet problems I've not worn any footwear for almost 3 years.
It is winter in Australia & these are so light, non-restrictive but warm - I can finally wear footwear again.
The non-slip sole is also fabulous.

I always knew I loved shoes, but never realized how much a woman can love a shoe until I met these two. I have a house on a mountain with hardwood floors, and I find that the insulation between me and the ground makes an enormous difference to how warm I am. I also find that the invisible elastic around the ankle is really important for keeping the boot in place on your feet when you walk. Nothing worse than slippers that walk themselves off your feet. Only thing I could suggest as an improvement is for a cotton based lining or more breathable lining, as my feet tend to sweat a bit in these, which means when I take them off, they get cold quickly.

So comfortable and very fitting! I have never felt such a custom fit from a commercial shoe! Great for wearing around the house and wonderful for those trips outside for more wood for the stove! I would recommend these to anyone looking for a low profile, warm down slipper!!

...its exactly what i was looking for. slips on easily and warms my feet up FAST! ...too warm at times and my feet get sweaty so socks are advisable. In addition to the drawstring, there is an inner elastic which i found to be a litle snug. i purchased the small and i have teeny-tiny ankles ankles/ bones so for me to say it is snug, says alot. but it's fine for me and i have no complaints. these booties are definitely for indoor use unless you like the feeling of twigs and stones beneath your feet. great for the plane, great for the house. i'm happy.

These are great, they are my alternative for wearing slippers in the house when it gets too cold. They keep warm and are comfortable enough to sleep in and you can keep the thermostat lower.
They feel great, walking around in the house and I wear them when I'm sitting at the computer and don't have to wear a sweater to keep warm.

The second I tried these on I fell in love with them- incredibly comfortable, warm and the colors are great. I wear a size 7/7.5 and the Mediums fit me perfectly. If you're between an 8 or a 9, definitely go with a Large!

I went camping for the first time and was so nervous about having cold feet. (If my feet get cold, its hard to get them warm, and then I can't sleep.) We camped just off the beach in Santa Barbara and I put my boots on around 5 p.m while my feet were still warm but just starting to get cold. I wore my boots until midnight, at which time I went to bed with very warm feet. They stayed warm all night and I was so happy with the performance of these booties (I wore ski socks inside them and slept in the ski socks.) The only funny thing is that they are wide and flat looking, kind of like muppet feet. I was the butt of a lot of jokes on our group campout but could care less...because...at midnight I went to bed with toasty little feet.

I wear them practically everywhere, and have had quite a few comments and looks. I hope I can start a new fad! They are so comfy and not to hot, but keep my feet cozy! They are comfortable and something I can wear all day without my feet feeling sore

These booties are wonderful! They are sooo warm and comfortable. I like the elastic around the ankle to keep them in place. I also bought a pair for my daughter as a Christmas gift. Initially she wanted me to return them, but once she saw me wearing mine, she put hers on and has not taken them off.

Got pairs for self and husband and am now buying as gifts for the whole family. The down is light as air, feet are toasty, and the thick foam footbed is cushiony yet very stable. We've even worn ours outside to walk the dog, get paper, etc- very versatile.

I was looking for a down bootie to use with my sleeping bag on backpacking trips in the Sierra Nevada high country. I opted for the bootie with the sole so that I wouldn't have to pull on my heavy boots for middle of the night trips from the tent. Although I haven't had a chance to use them in the high country yet, I'm using them at home and find that they are very light and comfortable. Like another reviewer said " little clouds of warmth for your feet". I'm very happy with my purchase.

I purchased the men's and woman's down booties. They are big and puffy, almost silly looking. However they are very warm and light. My wife and I were wearing these booties at a bed and breakfast log cabin. The wood stove was just getting stoked and the temperature was 42degrees F. My wife and I were the only people at the dining table with warm toasty feet. The fake macho guys even stopped laughing at my puffy booties when I let them put their hands inside my booties just to see how warm they really are. Just like North Face mittens for your feet.

These were a gift to my significant other, she loves them. I think I'll be getting a pair myself. The outer soles are nicely textured for traction (unlike other brands). The drawstring closure is a nice feature too...they stay up high on the ankle/lower leg.
