good, servicable jacket
September 12, 2013
this is a very nice inexpensive lightweight wind and rain jacket. I'm 5'2, 120lb and bought a medium to layer over sweaters and fleece - even so it does seem to run a bit large but fits my needs. it is more boxy than the picture indicates. it has held up well and seems quite durable. the one thing - and the reason it doesn't have a higher rating is the hood is not adjustable front to back and there is not enough reinforcing around the face opening so it tends to flop in my face unless the opening is closed down but without a built-in bill, that leaves no protection for my face. I solve that by wearing a brimmed cap underneath, not always a convenient option.Pros: Lasts forever, Performance, Cons: Bad design
