Nordica Women's Phenom Flat Skis:
Jib, bonk and jump your way to freestyle bliss in the park and pipe this season with Nordica's Women's Phenom twin-tip ski. Nordica designed their Phenom with a female-specific flex that gives women better balance and control than the park and pipe skis made for men. Despite the generous 86-mm. waist, the Phenom has an easy-turning sidecut that handles groomed surfaces and hardpack snow with minimal skidding (unless you intentionally want to skid, and then it's ready to do that, too). The Phenom features Nordica's park and pipe version of their Energy Frame CA ski construction for superb acceleration that suits aggressive skiers. The Energy Frame CA is a closed power train chassis that helps improve the overall torsion control, giving you excellent control on groomed and hardpack snow. There is also a greater focus on maximum energy transfer from the tip to the tail of the Phenom that remains predictably consistent for better control on or over tabletops, gaps and spines. One important note: In previous skiing magazine reviews, the feedback on some of Nordica's skis varied depending on which ski lengths the testers and editors tested, so keep length in mind and match the appropriate sized Phenom to your skiing preferences. In case you need specific data, we included the turn radius data for all sizes because of the significant differences in characteristics.
