This exclusive Saphir Sun package pairs last year's Rossignol Saphir Sun with this year's Saphir 95 X-Plate binding. It's a smart and affordable way for female carving enthusiasts and new skiers to start the season on some of the best skis available. The Saphir Sun is a smooth and comfortable carving ski with a progressive sidecut design for easy turn initiation and edging performance. A transversal VAS system enhances vibration dampening, improving overall confidence at increased speeds. Because the Saphir Sun is a light ski it only performs well with a lightweight binding like this year's Saphir 95 X-plate. This binding uses the same exceptional Axium technology found in all of Rossignol's performance bindings but in a design configuration that's easier to step into. Axial technology uses a shorter binding plate than traditional bindings, giving your skis a rounded, more balanced flex that allows for better contact on the snow. The X-Plate Suspension and comfort spacer add an additional 10 mm. to 12 mm. of height depending on how you configure the binding, giving you better edge grip and ride comfort.
