The Ninthward Firstblood Ski has a respectable waist width for powder skiing (91mm), but is lively enough for everyday conditions out west. The stiffer than average flex helps maintain edge control when the powder runs out and hardpack is all that's left. Add a twin tip at the tail, and here's a ski that can do it all, including sessions in the park. Skis are getting wider these days, but even still, east coasters will find better use for this ski when snow is softer and for powder
