K2 used a vertical urethane/ABS hybrid sidewall design that reinforces the structural integrity without dragging down the easy swing weight in the fir wood core. K2 recommends this twin-tip for skiers who tend to ride 60% groomed/40% untracked, but you can split the difference and still come away with a stable twin-tip that takes you down all sides of the mountain with confidence and stability.
