Improved comfort

What a great product! I got the travel cushion because of the size. We sit on low benches made of railroad tie-like beams to watch dance performances on an outside stage. I am so-o-o-o much more comfortable on my SKWOOSH. I'm buying a second one for my wife.

I have been using the Skwoosh Travel Seat Cushion for well over a year now. It rocks! I do long-distance travel both by air and in my little dynamo of a Smart car. On planes, I use the Skwoosh by itself; it is very light, foldable, easy to store in a carry-on bag, and makes red-eye flights bearable. In the car, I put it on top of an Altrec valve cushion. The only weakness the Smart car has is that its seat bottoms are rock-hard -- if it weren't for the Skwoosh and the other Altrec cushion (camping self-inflating blueberry colored and fabulous), I couldn't do things like drive from Florida to Colorado (as I did this summer) or Chicago (as I did a few weeks ago). I put the valve cushion on the seat and the Skwoosh on top of it. When I'm using them, I get out of the car and my hips and back feel fine (quite a feat for someone over 50, tall and solidly built) . It's as if I'm floating when sitting behind the wheel, even at the end of a 15-hour driving day. And now a shout-out to Altrec for fast, accurate delivery of product. Just two weeks ago I was in NJ and got out of my car and somehow my old Skwoosh must have adhered to my parka -- anyway, it fell out and was lost. I was about to drive down to DC and thence back to FL, a thirteen-hour haul. I ordered a replacement Skwoosh on Tuesday and it was delivered as promised to my NJ digs on Thursday, in time for my Friday departure. Thanks to Altrec, the Skwoosh and the camping cushion, I was able to zoom back home as though sitting on a cloud!

This cushion is new for me and it is just what I needed. It is compact and easy to place. And the sitting qualities are perfect. Others I've tried have been too soft or squishy. This one "smoothes out" the bumps in my car's upholstery just enough so that I don't feel any lumps while it is supportive. And I don't feel tilted to either side of the cushion. I've had a lot of back and hip discomfort. This cushion definitely helps with that.
