this seat is the best. i have 3 hearneated disks in my lower back and this seat, with a 19.5" high back, gives great support. i kayak 90 minutes a day and this makes me a lot more comfortable. i am 6' and 175 lbs, but it is adjustable to fit most humans. i would recommend it to any kayakers or canoers, especially anyone with back issues. the rear, good size pouches, hold water bottles and miscellaneous articles.

surprisingly convenient
It seems much more convenient than seats which come with my Aire Super Lynx boat. not sure yet about longer trips, will need to try it for a longer period. I wish Altrec made it possible to update/comment on your own reviews.
