Welded-baffle construction allows the exterior shell to adhere to the baffles without stitching, preventing moisture entry. An external storm flap protects the zipper from damp conditions. Durable tuck-stitch construction attaches the baffles to the ripstop polyester lining, preventing snags and blown seams. A side baffle stops cold spots from forming, while an oversized, three-dimensional collar with a drawcord adjustment conserves warm air on drafty winter nights. A full-length zipper gives excellent ventilation and mates with other sleeping bags. An interior pocket prevents small items from being exposed to the cold on long January nights.
