It's part of the innovative Quantum series, a selection of bags equipped with an expandable draft tube so you can add up to 8 inches of cool space to sleep comfortably in the summer heat or stuff in additional layers when the mercury does the limbo. Using the 15F rating as a baseline, you can open the bag up for early-spring and late-fall backpacking or keep it snugly zipped for mountaineering. It's insulated with synthetic Polarguard Delta, a new fill that's 10% lighter than Polarguard 3D.
