I love wearing this balaclava under my ski helmut, Smartwool has the weight of the fabric is just right. no itchy head or over heating also comfortable cut around your head and neck. The opening for your face can be pulled over your nose or below your mouth. I wear a large Giro G10 helmut. Have had it for 2 seasons and still looks new.

Nice Balaclava
I have tried other balaclavas and the Smartwool is, by far, the most comfy. I have a large head, so it's tough to find stuff that fits well. The Smartwool has a lot of stretch to it, which makes it fit better than others. It also fits well under a helmet.

excellent
Use this for cycling in cold temperatures. It keeps me nice and warm, protected from the wind. Can't ride without it.
