These socks are perfect for lounging or worn with slippers or casual wear with hiking/snow boots. Very bulky, so don't know if they are good for more technical uses, but for casual wear they are very warm and comfortable!

The Barn Socks are much thicker and not as high quality as the PhD series socks. I have had them for a few weeks, and they have already begun to pile. They run a little on the small side (length on ankle).

Good pair of winter/late fall socks. The sole is cushioned well, and the top of the foot is lighter weight so as not to take up too much room in your shoe/boot. Very warm, and they didn't make my feet too sweaty like many other socks do.

As always - the comfort is there, these socks are fashionable! My husband wears these as often as they come out of the wash. They still look brand new.

Socks fit true to size. I wear a size 10 shoe and bought a size large in these socks. They have a light weight upper and a cushy bottom. They feel real comfortable but would not try to wear them with snug shoes. You need a little extra room for their cushy bottoms. But I love them!

I haven't had these socks for too long but have worn them a few times and already love them. I'm finicky about socks I wear with boots as many seem too hot, or itch and sweat to much. These are perfect. They are comfy, warm and my feet don't sweat or itch. I'm about to order more, these are my new go to winter socks.
