I'm restocking my Diamond Jims and will go up a size this time. They run smaller than the Smartwool Heather Ribbed sock. Each sock size (M,L,XL)covers about 2 full shoe sizes. I'd suggest you upsize if you are in the top half of the range.

The socks fit perfectly, feel great on your feet, and are very comfortable. Hold up well to washing. Keep their color and fit.

Very poor durability

I picked up 5 pairs of these socks on a great sale. I own a few pairs of Smartwool dress socks that I purchased about 2 years ago and have been very pleased with their comfort and durability. Unfortunately these socks did not live up to that quality, or anything close. After wearing these socks for 2 and a half months of normal workweeks -- an average of only 10 wears per pair, *every single pair* had at least one large hole at the ball of the foot. Most of the pairs were becoming threadbare on the bottom by the third (!) wear. This was normal wear with casual shoes, not walking across a floor of cheese graters or anything. I'm pretty sure it's not my feet either, especially since my old Smartwool socks have continued to hold up even as the new ones have fallen to pieces. Four months after my purchase, every one of the 5 pairs is going in the trash; what a waste. Something is definitely very wrong with the quality of Smartwool's current products.

no more cold feet! superior fit and warmth without sweating. great for business attire; stay warm without the bulk. sizing is a little small. order the large.

These socks are very comfortable and warm. They are fine to wear in business casual settings. However, there is really nothing special about the durability, pretty average like my other socks, they just fall apart after a couple of washes.

I switched over to only EXCLUSIVELY wearing smartwool socks. worth every penny "extra" they cost vs non smart wool varieties. warm in winter cool in summer. cushion. they are the best socks I have ever owned and will ever own. that says it all

I like these because they look different than the usual plain black or dark blue sock for the office. Smartwool quality as usual is great. I started buying Smartwool because I have sweaty feet and hoped the wool content would help. I am still trying to decide what is best: Wool vs. Cotton.

Socks for everyday wear

I learned of Smartwool when my mother sent me a care package while I was serving in Afghanistan, I was so happy each week when that pair of socks came around in the rotation. Now every pair of socks are Smartwool and are some of the best socks that I have worn over the last 9 years of working in the middle east. The daily temperatures have been over 100* and my feet have been staying comfortable and dry. I love the way they make my feet feel when I first put them on. Some nights I sleep with a clean set on to help keep my feet in good condition.

I bought the socks for my "wet" feet problem! (It also caused smelly feet after 10 hours wearing regular cotton/nylon socks.) The smartwool socks keep my feet dry and not smell at all! How wonderful! The only complaint from me is the price! a little more expensive but worth every penny! Love it and can not live without it!

Darn Tough socks are fantastic. The fit, comfort and quality are all top-notch. I also like that Darn Tough are made in the U.S. These socks have the great feel of their great hiking and skiing socks - but look nice enough to wear to work.

I am very surprised with the cushioning and moisture-wicking of these socks. They keep my normally sweaty feet dry and cushioned throughout the day whether at the office or at my driveway while I am shoveling snow. They also look very good, so good that my wife asked why I didn't get her a pair. Maybe that's why she shrunk them in the dryer so she can have them to herself! The replacement pair that I will buy is going to be sized up to a large. Even though I am 5'7" 130+lbs and wear 8.5 shoes, the medium fit is a bit snug.

The Smartwool socks that I purchased for my soon-in-law are wonderful. It was impossible to find argyle socks in size 14 until I discovered the Smartwool brand. He said they are sooo comfortable! Additionally, they wear very well. Buy them. Your feet will be very happy!
