I bought these to wear with a work uniform and they are a great sock -- keep temperature well regulated in both heat and cold. They fight odor as well. Only potential downside is there was some piling of the fabric after 2nd wash. Will keep an eye on the durability.

wonderful warm socks for business casual. not too bulky, so able to wear with dress shoes as well as casual. when washing, may shrink, so cold wash and hang dry is the best way to go.

This is the go-to sock for work in the office or when dressed up. Comfortable, cool in the summer, warm in the winter. Won't buy any other sock besides SmartWool.

Put on the Smartwool Men's Heathered Rib socks and they will not disappoint. Smartwool sock fit and feel great. They hold up well, was after wash. I wear them in the winter and summer. They also have a good selection of colors

Great Socks Wear Them Everyday

I have worn SmartWool Heathered Rib Socks everday for years. They have changed a bit over time, but they remain my favorite - and most comfortable - socks for general use. I would be lost without them!

These are not as thick as the hiking socks but are the typical quality Smartwool products.... you will wonder how you ever wore cheap cotton socks or sweaty dept store wool socks.

We used to wear wool "up North" when I was growing up. I left all those socks behind when I moved to Florida. Recently, I tried some Smartwool dress socks on the recommendation of a sales person. I have bought 5 more of various colors since then. It was a surprise to me that they kept my feet cooler and more comfortable than any other socks. Amazing! and well crafted.

I love my Smartwool socks, I own mainly the Men's Hiking Light Crew Socks, but found these and decided to give them a try, they are undoubtedly more comfortable, these will be my comfy winter socks of choice!

Lighter in weight than Smartwool's light and medium hikers, the heathered rib socks are extremely comfortable and work well for 3-season hiking/backpacking as well as casual and dress. Socks hold their shape well, never sag, and have a nice light padding underfoot. Feet stay dry and odor free. Easy to wash and air dry on the trail when necessary.

These are my go to every day sock. After wearing out several pair of these I'm restocking. This time I'm going with the XL for my size 11.5 foot. If I always washed them as instructed they would not shrink but from time to time they get in the HOT cycle on wash or dry and eventually shrink. If you're between sizes I suggest you go bigger.

I love these socks! I work on my feet all day and they are extremely comfortable and durable. My feet don't sweat and stay comfy all day. I buy the mens because the color selections are more neutral.

I bought these socks primarily for daily work wear. I have used Smartwool socks in the past for backpacking/outdoor use and was always pleased with their products. I am hoping these hold up over the long run. I got them on sale so the cost was similar to men's fashion/designer socks.

I was looking for a comfortable sock to keep my feet warm at work, and I have found it! Although these are a bit pricey, they are well made and warm without being bulky. Be aware that they seem to run a bit small, so size up.

I cannot believe how wonderful my husband's feet have become since smartwool socks! Previously wearing cotton socks all day with the sweat his feet were terrible and would crack open and be painful. Just with 2 weeks wearing smartwool socks that wick the wetness away from his feet, they look great!

I haven't been able to find a great pair of work socks that make my dress shoes comfortable but these Smartwool socks do the trick. It has a great layer of cushion under your feet making standing up enjoyable ! I am a convert and have cleaned out my old socks and purchased all new Smartwool socks. Worth the money !

These socks are the perfect socks to wear with uniforms for mild to hot weather. Since they are made of merino wool they do not retain moisture like cotton socks and wick sweat away from the feet. These are going to be my work socks from now on.

I have been buying these socks exclusively for 5 years now. The first batch I bought 5 years ago and wear them everyday for everything from work to hiking in cool or warm weather. In five years the only signs of wear have been in the upper heel section where the wool has worn off and left the elastic still there, but there isn't a hole. I recently purchased a new batch (along with the stripedos, and the diamond jim's) and will continue to wear these on a day to day bases.

Very comfortable

Socks feel great on the feet. Moisture seems to get wicked out and feet stays dry. It's also very soft on the foot. Only problem is the durability, not too sure how long these will last. It went through a couple loads and air dried. The threads and material seems to be coming apart. Socks look all fuzzy right now. Not sure if this is how it is supposed to be. Will continue to use for now.

I got these socks to combat foot odor. After a day in cotton socks, my feet can smell pretty ripe. Not so in the Smartwool. In fact, my feet smell fine after a couple of days on the trial. Oh, you may want to order a slightly larger size that normal. I have size 9.5 feet, and the large is a tad small, but still totally wearable.
