Good socks,
I have other similar smartwool socks that i love, this pair as well. Generally i use these in the winter time with my shoes. Meaning they are not to bulky for shoes, but provide a good amount of warmth. Typical winter day for is around 0-20ºF

Snug and comfy
These socks are basically what I expect from Smart Wool. They're comfortable and fit well but being wool, they wear pretty fast. I had a hole in these after only a few months, with frequent use. They're nice looking though.

lower quality than most Smartwool products
As a longtime Smartwool wearer, these socks disappoint a bit. They don't appear to be as constructed as well as many others--eg: the Diamond Jims, and any of the dress or classic hiking socks. They suffer mostly from poor elasticity. It's a great shame to see such product inconsistency from an otherwise fantastic sock maker.

Excellent sock, nobody makes them better than Smartwool!
