I wore this base layer for 1 week straight at my job working 60 hours in a cold non heated warehouse. It has picked up NO SMELL. I am 6 ft 185 lbs and a large fits well. The fit is a bit more loose than my other large smartwool products. The fabric is very warm and soft.

Extremely comfortable base layer for cold weather. The fit is as described semi- form fit for which is very comfortable. I'm 6'4" 227 and the XL fit is perfect. It does fit close to the body but does not compress tight to the body. I find it a perfect cold weather fit. Great buy!

Awesome baselayer!

I recently purchased these Smartwool midweight shirts to use as a baselayer for myself and my wife when we go backpacking. The fabric is very soft, stretchy, and doesn't itch. They do tend to run a bit big, so we bought ours a size smaller than we usually wear and we're glad we did. It will be interesting to see if they shrink at all after a few washes, although the packaging suggests they won't. These shirts even look smart enough to wear out on the town, which makes them multi-purpose and helps to justify the relatively high price.
