I recently bought this shirt as a base layer for various outdoor activities. I love it because it is long enough for my ape arms! In fact, the thumbholes help keep the woolen sleeves over my wrists without worrying about a jacket pulling them out of place. The fit is great and the merino wool is the best when it comes to insulation. Be sure to read the wash care instructions. It is a bit pricey but the value of merino wool is well worth it.

The SmartWool Midweight Zip T is perfect for riding. The zip is easy to use while riding for on the long uphills for regulating heat . SmartWool Midweight Zip-T had been comfortable across a wide range of conditions.

This is a great base layer. I've worn it a few times already while running and it is great at wicking. This is a great product for its value and I would highly recommend it to anyone doing outside activities in the cold weather. The fit is great, too!
