I've used this shirt for many weeks now and it holds up extremely well. Doesn't retain any odor which blows my mind. I loved the durability and style and feel so much I bought another one. I am going to Australia and New Zealand and will be taking Smartwool exclusively.
just what I need

Simply put, this is a great shirt. Perfectly comfortable, great wicking, and although I've yet to test out the ability to wear it for several days without the shirt holding as much stank as others, I've heard great things about smartwool and look forward to my next extended adventure. next up for me is the long sleeve microweight.
Pros: Great design, Build quality, Lasts forever, Performance, Ease of use, Great valueGreat Product! Highly Recommend!

This shirt, like the rest of Smartwool's NTS micro-weight wool shirts, is a great alternative to cotton or synthetics. Why? Because like synthetics it wicks very effectively and like cotton it resists odor retention. Great for working out or as a base layer for hiking or everyday activity. I bought these for my trip to Kilimanjaro but the feel great and fit awesome, I think I found a everyday active Tee. They are a bit expensive for a Tee BUT you get what you pay for. Great Product! Highly Recommend!
Pros: Great design, Build quality, Performance, Ease of use, Cons: CostGreat shirt!

I've had this shirt for about 3 years now and love it. Highly recommended. Pros: - dries quickly - doesn't absorb "the stink"! - perfect in the summer or as part of a baselayer system in the winter Cons: - tears easily -- not something you want to wear while walking through bush
Smartwool Microweight Tee

The microweight tee is superb. Really resists odor allowing for extended wear before washing. Fit is great at the shoulders and neck a little on the snug side in the body. This fit works great for me but would probably be a personal preference.
Pros: Build quality, comfortOutstanding Layer

I bought this shirt as an all-year next-to-skin base layer. It fits well under mid and outer layers in cool/cold weather, and functions well on its own when it gets hot. It is one of the most comfortable shirts I own, and one of the primary articles I wear all year. It has a slim fit, excellent for wear under a variety of layers without bunching. It wicks sweat and stink away like no other fibric I've used. Smartwool's fit guide is spot on - I am 6'3", 215 pounds, with a 48" chest wearing an XL, and I love the athletic fit without being tight or restrictive. A big plus is that the collar fits well. Most lightweight shirts I try stretch wide and gape around my neck. This one does not, and retains its shape after repeated washings. This only issue I've experienced is some slight collar roll that must be smoothed out by hand after washing.
Pros: Great design, Build quality, Performance, Great valueSmartwool never disappoints

I have been a fan of Smartwool socks, especially the PhD socks, so I decided to try the NTS Microweight Tee and I have not been disappointed. The construction and quality are on par with the Smartwool socks. The Microweight Tee is extremely comfortable and feels much better than the cotton or synthetic tees against the skin. I will be looking to add more of these tees to my collection and would easily recommend these to anyone.
Pros: Great design, Build quality, Great value, great comfort, Cons: noneWOW!!!!

I just received my Smartwool NTS Men's Microweight Tee, Opened it up and put it on to make sure it fit, It felt great instantly, As a matter of fact, I was sweating in my cotton Tee just scanning the web and went into my bedroom and put the Smartwool back on, I have not even washed it yet and it feels awesome, I thought the price was excessive until now, Excellent looking, Excellent quality and worth every penny. I have synthetics that don't feel as good and some I have to turn inside out to wear. I will be ordering more and will probably never wear cotton again. I bought it for backpacking but it just became my favorite Tee!!
Pros: Great design, Build quality, Ease of useDelicate T

Like all of the Smartwool items, that I have purchased, this shirt is extremely comfortable. It is very lite and wicks well, also. My problem with this shirt developed, when I washed it. It developed two small holes in the front, down by the hem. I followed the washing instructions, to no avail. I love Smartwool, however I find it impossible, to recommend this shirt. It's just a little too delicate.
Cons: Wears quickly, Low performanceAlready own the Smartwool NTS Microweight Tee? Tell us your thoughts.

I love these shirts. You can wear them for 2 weeks and they don't smell. I take two of them for a two week BWCA trip. Just so I have a dry one if needed. These are a little longer than some of the compatition. I will be buying more.

Very comfortable shirt. Doesn't retain odor. Similar to Icebreaker shirts but runs a bit smaller in size.

I am a fan of Smartwool shirts and convinced my husband to give it a try and he likes it just as much as I do. For running base layer the microweight is just right, I would not go any thicker except the midweight with an outer soft or hardshell in winter. They do not dry as quick as the 80% merino/20% polyester mix shirts from Patagonia but really are great for cold and dry climate and keep you super warm.
Pros: Build quality, Lasts forever, Ease of use, naturally odor resistantAlready own the Smartwool NTS Microweight Tee? Tell us your thoughts.
Love It!

This is a great base layer under most anything. This is a warm and very soft shirt. I will use this mainly as a base layer for cycling in the winter. This base layer does not hold odor. You will want to wear it all the time.
Pros: Build quality, Performance, Cons: CostFebruary 05, 2011
This is absolutely the most comfortable "undershirt" going! It's certainly not cheap, but I feel it was well worth the price, and will definitely buy more.

Because like synthetics it wicks very effectively and like cotton it resists odor retention. Great for working out or as a base layer for hiking or everyday activity. When you wash it, go gentle/normal, low spin, and very low/air dry.
