good socks
Really good socks. Took these babies to the top of Mt. Whitney and back in one day, no blisters! Very impressed. I like the height, still high enough for a mid rise hiking boot, but the rest of my legs are free and cool. Can't stand the full length socks. Probably the most important piece of equipment I had up there.

Great SOCK, Dr Brown!
Another winner from Smartwool---the only brand I wear. These are thicker and provide more cushion than the "micro" socks--more like a crew sock. As with past socks from Smartwool, I expect 3 years of weekly wear from them. If Marty had been wearing them in "Back To The Future", would his future mom have called him "Smartwool" instead of "Calvin"??

These socks are awesome
I was skeptical at first. I mean who pays this much for socks. Man are they worth it. I've thrown away all my socks and replaced them with Smartwool socks. They really do keep your feet cool and are amazingly comfortable. They keep their shape and so far seem durable.

Great mid sock
This is a great sock and one of my favorites from Smartwool. I wear this mountain biking, hiking, and around town. I only buy Smartwool socks now because of their quality and comfort.

Great Running Socks
I have used my smartwool socks all summer long in heat etc. Fantastic, now that my size is back in I am ordering more. They feel good in my shoes and on my feet both during and after workout.

Cool Socks!
I bought a pair of these socks along with a pair of the SmartWool ultra light hiking sock in mini crew to compare. These socks have a touch less cushioning than the hiking ones I bought which could be a good or bad. Yet to be determined. Both felt great on my feet when I tried them on. I will be hiking/backpacking with my gf at the Grand Canyon in July and will put these socks to the test. As of right now I'm not sure what their durability, breathability, and comfort levels are when put to the test, but I'm sure as with all smartwool products that I've purchased in the past it will be superb and worth the money!

Smart Wool Socks
Absolutely love their products! I have not owned socks that can perform up to their standards. Great fit, durable, warm and great reputation are a few words that come to my mind.

Highly Recommended
I am a huge fan of Smartwool socks for running and hiking. I have used the phd lights consistently for road and trail running for a few years now and they are very durable. Tops stay elastic and toes barely wear. Despite being "light" they have ample insulation for dry winter use.

The Best
Treat yourself to some Smartwools. If you are gonna wear socks, these should be the ones. I bought a few of these and wore them for 5 months while traveling, alternating between three pairs, and they are all still going strong. The wool that Smartwool uses really is very comfortable and soft. I wore them in the summer heat through to the snowy winter in Europe, and it's true that wool keeps you cool in the summer helping wick away and evaporate sweat better than cotton, and keeps your toes toasty in the winter. They are worth the price!

5 Stars says it all
These are great running socks. I have used them multiple times for both trail running and street running. They have a lot of cushion, fit snug to stop blisters, and they wick away sweat to stop hot spots. Quality is very high. No signs of breakdown after at least 100 miles of use. I sometimes wear a liner underneath them just to be safe and blister free. Good value for running socks!!

Comfortable and Cozy
Living in Florida I was hesitant to buy wool socks, but these are a great purchase. Great wicking action, warm but not overly hot and best of all, my feet remain comfortable through hiking, golfing and just wearing around town. Will definitely be investing in more of these and throwing out my cotton socks.

Great socks!
These socks are superb. I wear them for work and play. Great for hiking, running, and soccer. They might be a little warm in the summer, but they are excellent as the temperatures start to fall. Lastly, because of the material (wool), there is basically no odor, so I can use them on consecutive days when I don't have access to laundry facilities.

Great socks!
Wonderful fit and comfort during summer months. Good wicking. Could not be more happy with a pair of running sock. And, the color avoids the "dirty white socks" problem after repeated use and washings. Bravo!

Great for any activity!
I purchased these socks for all around use, and they have turned out great. They work well for wearing to work, hiking the trails, doing yard work, and just everyday wear. My feet still feel great at the end of the day after wearing these.

There's nothing like a new pair of socks and these Smart-wools are well worth the coin. Great fit (I'm a size 10 and have the large) with a nice cushioned feel. I bought 3 pair and will be ordering more.
