I have other smartwool beanies but wanted a lighter weight one for cool summer mornings and evenings. This beanie is just the right level of warmth. I'm a fan.

Perfect for cool windy days. I am at the coast and it is almost always windy, I wear my beanie often. It is light weight and perfect for summer. I don't get beanie head when I take it off. This is my 2nd smart wool hat and they launder well. Hold up great. Highly recommend.

Love this hat. Perfect for cold weather sports - skiing or snowshoeing when you don't want to overheat. I also like it in sub-zero weather as a liner under my hood. Thin enough to wear under a helmet, if that's your thing. As with all Smartwool, it's super soft. It's a little tight - even on my small head - but has some stretch and is deep enough to cover my ear lobes. Bought this one after my psychotic cat ate my first one. Just need to keep it out of reach this winter.
