Smartwool Basic Footless Tights II - Women's

Smartwool products are wonderful. Quality renewable wool made into fashionable and comfortable clothing. Unfortunately with the Basic Footless II tights, I just did not feel they were up to the same standards as their other clothing and socks that I have purchased. The material of the tights was of a courser finish than what I would have expected. These would be great as a base layer under ski pants or a shell fabric, but for use with dresses and boots I found them not as attractive. The feel of the surface fabric tended to grab the material of my skirts and bind up. I would still recommend them as a base layer under certain clothing items though. Size was accurate, and they were comfortable.

great tights to wear with skirts and dresses, run true to size, very comfortable. have another pair if footless tights from smartwool but they have extra seams-these are plain and simple!

I have to admit, I was disappointed in these legging. Smartwool products are usually so soft, but I found these leggings to be scratchy. The fit is fine and they look cute on, they lack the softness and comfort that I was hoping for.

These are my first pair of smartwool tights and so far I'm really enjoying them. I am 5'7" 130 lbs and the medium fit great. I don't find them to be itchy at all, as commented on by another reviewer. They are pretty thin, but keep you warm.

My new footless tights arrived the day after I ordered them--and they are nice and warm. They are a wee bit snug, and a wee bit scratchy at first, but comfy soon enough.

I love these footless tights and ordered a second pair. Very warm for fall, spring & winter, and being footless, no worries about getting holes in the toes, (which I often get with footed tights no matter how seemingly durable). Very cute with flats, and with boots I just wear socks. I ordered a medium and they fit great (5'7, 140). They do not itch.

The mediums fit my 5'8" 120 lb body perfectly. They are so much longer than the originals and so much more comfortable! They were a tiny bit scratchy for me the first few times I put tights on, but for me, that only lasted a few minutes. Then just comfort and warmth! I have also noticed that with more frequent/consistent wearing, I do not feel any initial scratchiness. I love them with skirts and boots. They are also perfect under jeans for added warmth. I now own several pairs in different colors. I only wish they made the darker charcoal gray in the Footless II's. I do highly recommend these tights.

I love smartwool socks, so I thought I would try these tights to wear under my short dresses this winter! They are perfect for our Northern California chill, worn with boots or not. They are do not itch and feel pretty good next to my skin. I am 5'7" and 125lbs. The medium fit perfect!
