I love the height/length of these socks! The heather grey is great and they are warm just like all my smart wools. I wear them tall under my pants, peaking out over the tops of my boots, or bunched up around my ankles like leg warmers. My only complaint is that I wish I would have bought them in black before M sold out.

I have been looking for some warm socks that are also thigh length. These are nice quality and fair price. I would recommend these for women looking to keep their legs warm.

Good but disappointed

I was super excited to receive these sock, and even more excited that companies were making thigh high socks. Unfortunately these socks are very very thin! Even though they are wool there are more like a nylon/tight than a sock. The stitching pattern on the thigh is a bit weird, you can't tell the pattern changes in the pictures but it does. And it's not really flattering. Looks more like an old worn sock pattern and not a brand new sock. Kind of disappointing from Smartwool! The size is WAY off too! I'd recommend sizing up to your next size! The price is definitely too high for the quality of these socks! Find a coupon code if you can.
