I LOVE Smartwool products, but was extremely disappointed in these tights. They are beautiful and warm but were literally falling apart at the seams after the first wear. I sent them back for a new pair, and the new pair did the same thing. The size was right, but the tights would tear at the waist band for no apparent reason. I really hope that Smartwool gets these right next year. If they do, I will buy 10 pairs!!

Pros: tights are warm and stylish, not itchy Cons: gradually slide down over the course of the day I bought these tights looking for something warm to wear under skirts and with boots in the fall/winter. I love the look and feel, but I'm not 100% happy with them because while they fit ok in the morning, by noon they'd started to slide down--not so much that anyone else would notice, but by enough to make them less comfortable than they should be, especially for the price. Wearing them with a skirt with a tighter waistband helped.

These tights are SO comfortable in fit and fabric. I wore them with a dress to a fashion show and got lots of compliments. I went daring and bought the claret. They are a lovely color. I got the medium according to the size chart ( I'm 5'6", 138 lbs) and they fit perfectly.

Really cute tights and they fit nicely! I'm glad I ordered the medium because I think the small would have not fit. When I checked the size chart I could have ordered either size because my measurements overlapped both sizes. I'm 5' 5" and 125 lbs. I can't wait wear the with some cute boots!

These tights went to Alaska in winter, and were used almost all the time. They needed to be part of layering some days, but they feel oh so comfortable next to your skin! Keep you warm, but never hot or sticky! I found Altrec to ship quickly, and were a great company to deal with!

These are great wool cold weather tights that keep you warm even if you get wet and as a bonus they have natural odor control. These are the only tights I wear because they don't suffocate my legs, and I prefer wool over other materials any day of the year.
