I liked this top, but unfortunately had to return it, as the sleeves were a bit too short on me to fit comfortably with the thumb hole. Other than that the shirt was great. I went with the regular zip up smartwool top instead.

Great shirt

Smartwool is my top choice for all outdoor activities. It is warm, it wicks away moisture, it does not retain odor, and it does not itch. It is perfect for activities but it is also perfect for sleeping while camping. Can't beat it! True to size fitting - I'm 5'4", 138 pounds, and a size 8 and a medium fits me well.
Loved this base layer top!

I have never tried SmartWool, mainly due to the price. However, Altrec's price was very reasonable and I was tired of getting cold on the golf course. I have a hard time playing if I wear too many layers, especially jackets. My preference is to wear a base layer and then a long sleeve golf top. I went ahead and placed my order and then got nervous when I read a negative review on another site about the fabric being "scratchy" and the zipper rubbing against one's skin. I don't know what top they were writing about because I loved this top from the first time I wore it....it kept me warm, did not scratch or rub against my skin, and the fit was great. The length of the top was good in that I was able to tuck it into my pants without it riding up. I want to defintely buy another SmartWool product!
