must have for winter activities
March 19, 2013
I have worn this running in the winter almost every training session and washed it maybe twice, seriously, it does not need more washing, it's naturally antibacterial. Merino wool is the best when it's cold and dry, it does not give you wind protection though but paired with a lightweight vest it's perfect. It's fitted and slimming.
Pros: Great design, Build quality, Lasts forever, Performance, Ease of use, Great value, odor resistantDid you recently buy the Smartwool Merinomax Full-Zip Jacket? Write a review.
nice jacket

the lack of a double zipper is a minus :( The cuff/mitten thing is kind of, well, odd. I have short arms (always a problem with shirts, I hem many 2 inches to give you an idea), and it fits me fine for using them, which implies most people would have a problem using them. The fit is slightly fitted, but not too much (not like most wool base-layers). The neck is not too tight so it won't strangle you :) The feel of the wool is very nice and soft, as expected from smartwool.

Slimming fit, great to wear as a second layer without bulk. I haven't had it very long, but I'm assuming it will wear well like most Smartwool products.
