Sizing has changed

The material is smooth and silky, great against the skin. This is suppose to be a base layer to fit snug next to skin but it seems Smartwool has sized their current tops larger than older tops from previous years. Previous years I have purchased size Small in Smartwool tops. I have not lost weight and I had to size down on this top for the next to skin base layer fit for the best warmth. Must be a marketing strategy to make people think they are still they same size they were a year or two ago. The new size Small feels like the old size Medium.
