Comfortable, use for aerobic activities
November 03, 2012
I have a couple of pair of these thongs, find them to run true to size, and extremely comfortable. No scratchy wool feeling at all. I use them for high impact activities from running, to hiking, to snowshoeing. I like the wicking action of wool and would have all my active items made from merino if I had the choice. Recommend 100%.

Comfortable but runs small
August 27, 2011
I buy merino wool underwear for their comfort and odor control in sweaty conditions. This thong runs pretty small. At 110 lbs and 5'3", I'm normally a size 0 or XS. I ordered an XS but it was too tight coming out of the package and a lot lower rise than the picture shows (not as close to my bellybutton as on the model). I thought I would keep them anyway until I saw a tag that said it was cut larger to allow for shrinkage after the initial washing. Then I knew they had to go back. I'm actually going to order a medium rather than a small this time to allow for that shrinkage. Plus I don't like thongs as tight as I usually wear my bikini style underwear - they're less comfortable that way.
