these are extremely well made, wash beautifully. i got the x-lg but probably could have ordered the lg. there's plenty of room. can be worn as baselayer or legging. the weight is exactly as described - medium. very pleased with purchase.

Light weight and comfortable and keeps you warm! Love the socks too! Bought the whole outfit, shirt and pants to wear while skiing. They are easy to wear, thin and provide the right amount of warmth!

awesome style, really warm and soft. pricey but i hope they last and last. look cool under a skirt with boots; also great for layering, sleeping, stretching, hanging out. mmm.

I am sold on all the Smartwool products. This is the second pair of Smartwool long underwear I have bought. I love the bright, fun colors and it is not itchy and does not retain odors the ways synthetics do. I bought a M as I am a size 8 on bottom and it fits perfectly.

so so cute; warm but not hot and very soft. I wear size 28 in jeans and have a muscular lower body; the medium fit well, and medium is what I usually buy.
