Very happy with this purchase
This is the fifth Smartwool top I have purchased, and I live in them. They are comfortable, a great layering top which I wear when running. It's not too hot but keeps me comfortable when running in temperatures in the 40's. When hiking at lower temperatures I layer it. I love the color of this one (and the others as well). I am in my 60's and am 5'4", 115 pounds. I wear the size medium because I do not like a skin tight fit. The fit tends to be snug. Smartwool is a great product in general.

My favorite shirt
I love this shirt for baselayering, stand-alone active wear, and loungewear. It is soft, form-fitting in a flattering way, and comes in nice colors. It does also dry quickly and resist odor. It still looks new after frequent use for over a year. I'm about to buy a second one!

Great base layer
Another great product from Smartwool. Lightweight, warm and doesn't itch. Fit is excellent and slim -- good as a casual top in the city when it gets chilly!

Worth Every Penny
This is such a great looking and feeling shirt. I run a bit cold so even in California I think this will stay in the wardrobe year round. As for care instructions it may be best to air dry this product even though the label says it is alright to place in the dryer...

Warm but stylish
I can wear this to the office as a top or use it as a base layer. It is so comfortable. The fabric is substantial, drapes well and the cut is form flattering. The purple heather color is really sharp looking. This is a winner!

Warm & cute
Wear this as a regular shirt, not a base layer. I'm always cold, so this is warm without being bulky. Washes well. Fits true to size.

Love it
This top really keeps you dry & is great as a base layer for skiing or even as a casual top over jeans. Fit is TTS & the quality is great.

Excellent Base Layer, indoors and out!
I'm currently living in Norway and needed some wool underwear for the winter temperatures...as low as -5 degF. This top was perfect for both every day use and for days out snowboarding. It always kept me toasty warm without overheating. The cut is feminine and fitting, without being too tight. I am normally a medium (5'7", 135lbs), and found the medium fits perfect. It is great for layering or by itself. The wool is not scratchy and washes very well. I highly recommend this product for anyone living in a cold and snowy place.

Great base layer!
I bought one of this top for activities in cooler weather. I used it for hiking recently when the weather got chilly. It is comfortably warm and I noticed when I got warm the top regulated my body temp. very well and moist my sweat very well. I was extremely happy and my body was thankful for this top.

Love it!
Great for damp climbing and cycling. Also wears well and the colors are great. Perfect weight for Pacific Northwest. Kind of expensive but worth it cause you only need one!

Awesome Base Layer
Feminine cut, pretty and not itchy against the skin. It's worth every penny to have such a nicely made garment for the colder months ahead. I had one last winter and wore it nearly every day it still looks almost new. Had to buy another for some rotation! Opted for the stripes--hope it's not too distracting to wear as an under-layer.
Best stuff- I love their socks, too. Never stinky!

Great base layer--warm and feminine
Fits well through the body without being too snug. The sleeves and body length are a bit long but, then again, I am quite short. It is warm without being too warm and washes up great. Will wear as outer layer in warmer weather also.

Best winter layer possible!
I love all Smartwool products and especially this cozy shirt! I usually wear a small in Smartwool tops, but had to size up to a medium for this one (I'm 5'7" and 130 lbs.). The small was just too tight on me. Hoping Altrec replenishes their stock so I can buy more colors!

The best under layer ever!
Comfortable and warm with out making you too hot and sweaty! This will take you comfortably from indoors to outdoors! I love it. Cute enough to wear as an outer layer too.

Love it!
My new favorite hang out shirt. Toasty warm but lightweight and not itchy at all. I'm usually a small, but the medium fit me better - just right. I'm planning to keep it nice longer by air drying it instead of tumble dry.

A great product!
The SmartWool Midweight crew is a great piece. I absolutely love it and plan to order one for my friend. I like to share the goodness! It is so soft and feels nice and cozy against my skin. The neat thing is that when I wear it for cold weather cycling, I can wear one less layer as it is so warm....and it stays dry during intense workouts. There is no itch, which I have stayed away from wool for years because of that bothersome feature with some wool lines. I would highly recommend this product. It is well worth the money spent. I hope to get a few more, in different colors.

Very comfortable
I haven't had a chance to wear this hiking or backpacking yet, but I did wear it as a baselayer on a recent airline trip. I usually can't wear wool, so I wasn't sure about this top when ordering it. However, it is not scratchy at all and is very comfortable. It's also form fitting and stylish enough to be worn by itself. Many tops are too short or too long on me, but this one is perfect! I am going to order more in different colors.

excellent base layer
This is a great base layer and outer layer. Wicks well, retains shape and warmth soaking wet, and only smells a little like a wet dog -- which is much better than smelling like my body after four days without a shower. I'm about to order a second one!
