Cute and Great Fit

First pair of Smartwool socks, and I love them. These socks are comfy, cute, and a great fit. I got the size large (I wear an 11) and they fit great. Excited to use them on my hiking adventures!

I live in Florida so I thought Smartwool would be too hot. My son bought me my first pair and now I am hooked! Comfort and selection are great.

great sox for mid-hiking shoes because they cushion your ankles. I wear a size 6 1/2 boot and got the sox in size small which fits perfectly. Can't wait to get out on the trail!

The best Hiking sock ever!
March 10, 2010
Smartwool socks are a must have item for me when I'm hiking. They are great for temperature control, whether it's hot or cold outside. My feet are always dry when I'm wearing these socks and they add a little extra cushion to walk on. They are the best socks ever made!

I wear these every day now that the weather is cooler. I work outside & I'm on my feet all day...great cushioning and ventilation...plus they are fitted enough to wear comfortably with any style shoe. Work well for weekend wear with hiking boots too. I'll be back for more!

An instant favorite

These are one of the most comfortable pair of socks I've ever worn. I LOVE wool, especially in a soft, non-bulky sock that is incredibly warm and perfectly tight fitting. LOVE these...Want a few more pairs.

BREATHABLE COMFORT
November 14, 2011
These are definitely my favorite socks! I find myself digging through the drawer to find them! They are not too thick but still warm. They also breathe very well so my feet do not perspire in my low top hikers. Smart wool is a little pricey but the durability is worth it. I definitely recommend their products.

I am very picky about my feet. I don't like them too hot, or too cold. I can't stand it when the seem of the sock digs into my toes. I also am very sensitive to wool - it makes me itchy. But these socks don't bug me at all. Ever. They are very comfortable. I do, however, really only like the ultra light sock - they get a little thick otherwise. I don't wear any other socks anymore. Sure, they are a little expensive, but I have had pairs for years (and I wear them often). So, for the price, it's worth every single penny. Favorite socks ever. Note: I wear a size 10 running shoe and end up getting the size medium socks. I find that the large is just a touch large...

Super comfortable
October 12, 2011
These mini socks are my everyday socks for spring and fall. They have enough cushioning to stand up to a day-long hike, and somehow are equally comfortable on a hot or cool day. As a petite person, I often have to fold over crew socks to a shorter height so that the elastic doesn't dig into my leg. The mini length saves me the trouble, and looks a lot nicer. For the hottest days of summer, I like to switch to the PhD outdoor ultra light "micro," which also cools off your ankle and looks better with capris/shorts. Smartwool socks are a bit expensive, but they leave other socks in the dust (or in your drawer). Worth it!

These socks are very comfortable and have a perfect level of padding on the bottom. I am a big fan of Smartwool and this style has the quality and comfort that I expect when I purchase Smartwool socks. I'm also consistently pleased with Altrec, and will continue to be a loyal customer.

I cannot say enough positive things about all Smartwool socks. They are worth the price! No cold feet. No smelly feet. These can be worn any day of the year! I like these for running on the treadmill.
