Being a ski rep I'm on the snow 4-7 days a week from Nov-April. I switch from ski boots to snow boots multiple times a day, so I needed a warm, versital sock with out adding ANY bulk inside my ski boots. My boots are a performance fit leaving me without any extra room for a bulky sock (downsized 2 whole shell sizes from actual foot measurement) and I have poor circulation leaving me with freezing toes.**** This sock made a world of difference!! I've thrown out my old ski socks! My feet are warmer thanks to the high amount of wool, circulation has improved due to the all around snug fit, and DRASTICALLY REDUCED painful tongue pressure on the top of my foot thanks to it being drastically thinner at pressure points. ***This sock is alot thicker compared to other Lightweight socks. I WOULD NOT recommend the Mediumweight sock for anyone that DOESN'T have a large sloppy boot! ***I did notice after ONE DAY the socks became "fuzzy" around the entire sock, may be due to the high level of wool. It will only be an issue for me if pilling starts to occur. WASH INSIDE OUT!! ***They do stretch out over time so I recommend getting one size smaller. They will always stretch out to fit, never the opposite way!

These are wonderful socks - put them on immediately, felt great, immediately warmed my toes, and awesome futuristic design. Made with winter sports in mind, but also cozy around the house and stylish for around town.

Smartwool's ski light sock is my favorite for cool-weather hiking and winter walking. After two years of regular usage, one heel is wearing through. :-( I like the additional warmth the taller sock provides for winter/cooler weather and will purchase 3 more pair when I find the right sale!

These sock wick away sweat and I am a size 11 and these fit me perfectly. Not easy for me to find the right size socks. These are fashionable but absolutely gear driven. So soft, you wouldn't know they were wool, if it weren't in the name. No itching what so ever! A must for your gear "tool box". I've worn these socks for years and they are worth the price, you get what you pay for with these. Very durable.
