I have trouble with friction on my feet which causes painful blisters and callouses. These socks were just what I needed to provide comfort and reduce the friction. They looked great with cords, dress pants too.

I just received them yesterday, so I cannot judge the durability. They are extremely soft and comfortable. They are not very thick, except for the wonderful slightly padded sole, so not for sports or hiking, but for normal wear with everyday or office clothes, just as I wanted. I got the black ones, but I will be back for more!

I was pleased with the color and pattern of the socks. They fit extremely well. I wear an 8 !/2 WW shoe, so I was happy the socks did not ride down into the heel. I was a little disappointed that they were not as thick and warm as I had hoped, but they will be fine for milder weather. I have not had them long enough to see if they "pill", which has happened to some of my other Smartwool socks after repeated washings.
